I recently graduated from medical school, and also have a Bachelor degree from Johns Hopkins University in mathematics as well as a degree in biology from San Francisco State University. Originally from South Carolina, I also lived in California before pursuing a career in medicine in the Midwest.My experience includes seven years teaching high school math and science in San Francisco, California before attending medical school. I tutored students from all age groups.Helping my students to achieve their academic potential is something that I enjoy. I also enjoy helping students realize the fun and beauty of mathematics, since this is a subject that many people find intimidating. I am also passionate about helping students understand the value of higher education, as well as encouraging them to think about engineering or science as a career choice.I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor who helps students in math and science subjects. High school math, chemistry, and biology are my favorite subjects for tutoring. Additionally, I tutor elementary and middle school students in science and math, and also work with students who are preparing for tests like the ACT or SAT.In addition to teaching, I am also interested in music, violin, movies, meeting new people, and traveling.
